For many years one of our strengths has been to offer services not readily found elsewhere and whilst insert moulding is the exception, in-mould foiling and PiMC onto both Melamines and Composites is not. Keeping abreast with new technologies and processes which we consider will enhance a customer’s product through improved performance we recently included the introduction of robotic PiMC (Polyester in-mould coating). With some presses currently equipped with PiMC cycles which generally are suitable for the more basic flat surfaced products, we have introduced robotic PiMc to accommodate those products with undulating and varied surface profiles which replaces the conventional in-mould cycle. |
